friday 18th November
This week has been great, some of us were lucky enough to visit the Japanese school in London. We had a great time and had lots of fun at the school. The other children who could not go spent the day getting the school ready for our Harry Potter day on Friday, they also had a double swimming lesson. In our topic this week we have been learning about the Blitz, it has been very interesting finding out about what happened to Bristol during WW2. Next week some Grandparents are coming in to talk to us about their experiences during WW2. On Friday we had a Harry Potter day, the school looked like Hogwarts and we all dressed up like Harry Potter, witches and wizards. We all had so much fun.

This term we are going to learn about WWII and how it affected the people of Bristol. A lot of us have brought in timelines, books and artifacts about the war, which we have shown to the class. This has already helped us learn a lot about the topic. This week we have also learnt about pollution and climate change and how it is going to affect us and animals in the future if we dont act now to stop it. We are all very excited about our new topic.
